NATIONAL CONVENTION: TEENPACT LEADERSHIP SCHOOLS
2017 - Present
There's not much I love more than program development. For National Convention, which hosts over 1000 attendees at Lee University, I work directly with the event theme development, write the spiritual curriculum, develop and direct daily videos, and even write a few songs to go along with each day's theme.
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY: OLATHE
2017
I moved to Olathe, Kansas for two months to consult as a communications specialist for Journey Bible Church. While I was there, I assisted in program rebranding, strategy and curriculum development for several departments within the church. The local church context is near and dear to my heart, which made this project all the more special.
CAMPUS EXPERIENCE: CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY
2016-2019
During my time at Cedarville University, I've had the opportunity to use words to bring clarity into every aspect of University life -- whether that involves speaking with students, writing handbooks, championing fundraising campaigns or representing the University to guests, I've written and developed content for Student Life, Alumni and Advancement, and several other groups on campus.
I wrote this video for TeenPact's National Convention in 2019. I wrote six videos worth of content and worked with an incredible motion designer to bring these videos to life. You can find Mason and more of his work on Instagram @masonhook

Work & Writing Experience
NATIONAL CONVENTION: THEME DEVELOPMENT & WORSHIP DIRECTOR
I've been consulting with TeenPact Leadership Schools for almost three years running for their National Convention -- I assist with the development of the conference theme and curriculum. This includes a daily devotional, curated readings, and original scripts that are presented visually for each session.

KEY DISTINCTIVESÂ - CONTENT CREATOR
I worked as a Content Creator for TeenPact Leadership Schools as they revised their key distinctives. Heading up the worship distinctive, I conducted research, proposed new programs, and wrote foundational documents that included mission and vision statements, song banks, staff manuals, and justifications for their methodology.
STUDENT BODY VICE PRESIDENT
As the Vice President of Student Government Association at Cedarville University, I collected and presented information to the entire student body each and every week representing faculty, staff, and current students. I often prepare and present presentations to University donors and special guests, and I manage all social media for our Student Government Association.
ALUMNI RELATIONS & ADVANCEMENT
Not only did I help Cedarville University implement and execute inaugural events, I wrote event content, developed a strategic marketing plan, and conducted interviews to create a professional take-home product for event attendees.
CAMPUS EXPERIENCE
While working for Student Life Programs and Event Services at Cedarville University, I wrote content for programs like the CU LEADership conference, wrote and directed marketing videos, revised internal documents and presented content analysis and strategy.
SONG LYRICIST & CO-WRITER
I've consulted on several songs for a worship album that is currently in production. You drop a beat and I'll make up the rhymes -- or something like that.
